From necessity to idea, to product...

I am happy about every single visitor who wants to have a look around my still very new store. So thank you very much for your interest!
I've been getting more and more questions about what prompted me to open my own store. And how I came up with this, in my opinion, innovative quick-release solution for gags and head harnesses. (By the way, collars also work wonderfully with it, but you rarely need to be able to put them on and take them off quickly) ;-)
This prompted me to tell my story here (in as few words as possible, haha!).
My partner and I have been playing in the BDSM context for a long time and of course it is inevitable that more elaborate restrictive sessions will arise. Anyone who is active in this field knows that a lot of time is spent on tying up, gagging etc..
Since my partner was diagnosed with MS about 3 years ago and therefore has some physical limitations in terms of physical resilience (in addition, she is extremely impatient and freezes quickly... :-D ) I was looking for a solution if necessary, especially to speed up the tying up and use of toys for strapping, putting on, etc., in order to be able to focus more on the intimate moment. (Yes, I know, normally the journey is the reward, but due to the circumstances described above, that doesn't always work ;-) )
An important "side aspect" of the magnetic quick-release fasteners that should be mentioned is that they can be opened just as quickly as they are closed in moments of panic. Or even in moments when the MS is acute and you need to provide immediate relief.
My initial idea was actually to use quick-release fasteners for wrist and ankle cuffs. There are already some ideas available on the market (I'm currently even using them as an emergency solution for our restraints). But of course they are not specialized for this context and therefore, in my opinion, are all clunky and not aesthetically pleasing. Especially when it comes to the gag area.
I therefore tinkered with an idea mainly for fun at first, which I then gradually developed into a prototype for our ball gags. In contrast to restraints, I didn't have to pay so much attention to high mechanical resilience with the gags. (I also had no intention of using them for anything more than private use at that time)
After about 1.5 years of one prototype to the next, I was so convinced of my idea (and feedback from friends) that I wanted to get it ready for series production as quickly as possible so that I could quickly make this great quick-release fastener available to other enthusiastic users.
So about a month ago I opened this store, where I now produce and sell my small series with the currently still somewhat bumpy production process. :-) ( And I'm really getting on my partner's nerves because I spend every spare minute optimizing something :-D )
